I don't aspire to "fore
ver," because that
isn't real. But I do
aspire to remaining on good
terms with everyone I'm ever romantically

involved with, or even just like. If I like a person,

they may feel I shouldn't have feelings for
them, or shouldn't feel any s
ense of commitme
nt to them so easil
y, but I do, and I feel thi

s sense that I should alw
ays be on good terms with them, a
s long as I'm alive. That isn't
the classical "forever,"
it's a more realistic one. "Bec
ause I like you, I want to always li
ke you, and hope we can

always like each other we
ll enough to be friends." I

sn't that a more beautiful dream?

If I like a person, they may feel I shouldn't have feelings for them, or shouldn't feel any sense of commitment to them so easily, but I do, and I feel this sense that I should always be on good terms with them, as long as I'm alive. That isn't the classical "forever," it's a more realistic one. "Because I like you, I want to always like you, and hope we can always like each other well enough to be friends."
